California’s firefighters have inspired the world with their service and their sacrifice. To lend a helping hand to their critical work, the California Lottery supports firefighter training programs such as the Verdugo Fire Academy at Glendale Community College, which trained some of the cadets who went on to fight the Eaton Fire.
