Synology PAS Series is Synology's first dual-active solution designed to handle mission-critical workloads such as containers, hypervisors, databases, and EDA. For PAS7700, in addition to using U.3 NVMe SSDs with a PCIe interface directly connected to the CPU, the storage protocol for client connections also supports NVMe over Fabrics, which not only provides high speed and performance, but also effectively reduces latency and system bottlenecks. In terms of security, the PAS series has also been further upgraded by incorporating advanced features tailored to high enterprise standards, such as network isolation and self-encrypting drives. Finally, the dual-active architecture enables automatic failover across storage, network, and controllers, minimizing downtime, ensuring continuous availability for non-disruptive services.
