Who’s ready to party like it’s the end of the world? Welcome back to Party of One UHC! For our eighth round, 25 players were living it up during the apocalypse to face “The Impairment.”
This season earns its namesake from the various ways players subjected themselves to different types of impairment in order to gain an advantage in the game. Firstly, we had an edit of blood diamonds that dealt a heart of damage per each ore mined past five. In addition, we had Armageddon enabled. Finally, we had a custom gamemode courtesy of Ripper called “Worst PvE,” which rewarded players for taking damage!

Here is an explanation of the Worst PvE gamemode: Players are rewarded for taking damage. If a player stays below 80% of maximum health every 10 minutes, they are rewarded with an item (be it enchanted book, arrows, gold, etc). Players are taken off the list if their health goes above 80%. Items are better the lower the health of the player, so that 0-10% gain tier 1 items, 11-20% gain tier 2, etc. Here is a list of possible rewards: pastebin.com/d539QYSa
