Welcome to a very special season of Party of One. For our sixth round, the partiers are revisiting the old favorites, and that is to say we are revisiting a gamemode from each season. This amalgamation includes Interviewers, Devil Watches, Swappers, Quadrants and Secrets. To further the celebration, Round Six also features a plethora of newcomers celebrating their first season by getting to play the classics. A full roster of players and once-every-other-daily posts can be found on the ultrahardcore subreddit: r/ultrahardcare
Here is an explanation of the gamemodes:
Interviewers: Throughout the course of the match, Madzie will provide a perspective that interrupts your game to ask questions, give advice, make you talk to another player, etc.
-
Devil Watches: Broseph is the devil! He will act as an NPC by offering and accepting trades to be made throughout the game. Use whatever you have in your inventory or your negotiation arsenal to come out on top.
-
Swappers: Custom crafts added to the game.
Random Swapper: Randomly swaps the positions of two players in the game. Made with a golden apple surrounded by redstone dust. No crafting limit per game. Can only be used once every five minutes
Targeted Swapper: When used, the user chooses 2 people in game to swap positions. Made with a jukebox surrounded with 2 tnt and 6 redstone blocks. No crafting limit per game. Can only be used once every five minutes.
-
Quadrants: The map is split apart by two bedrock walls along X and Y = 0. This creates four quadrants in which players will be evenly scattered.
At the start of the sixth episode (the one before meetup) these walls will come down and the map will be normal where all players have access to each part of the map.
-
Secrets: Each player will be given a list of secrets at the start of the game. During the course of the round, an NPC will wander the map announcing his coordinates periodically. Meetup with him and you will be randomly placed in a channel with another player. You will then have a minute to ask them yes or no questions to discover one of their secrets. After that, they will try and guess one of your secrets using the same method. Answers must be honest, and the NPC will make sure of this.
If you answer dishonestly or the other person guesses your secret, the other player gets a reward from the NPC. If you correctly guess a secret, you get a reward from the NPC. You may do this up to three times within 3 separate episodes during the course of the round.
Nether was on, with splash and tier 2 potions disabled. Stripmining, arrow counter, c-counter Optifine zoom and fullbright were all disallowed. Meet-up was episode 7.
Enjoy :)

![[FWR] Pitfall: The Lost Expedition Any% Speedrun [24:19]
Sorry blupee
Still not loadless WR so still work to be done. Plenty of new strats to implement means that timesave is everywhere now - just need to grind it out!
Retimed to 24:19.
22:11 load times removed (LRT).
What am I watching?
This is Pitfall: The Lost Expedition. Released in 2004 on a number of consoles, this game was a 3D successor of the classic pitfall games seen on Atari and SNES.
This run was performed on a Wii, playing the Gamecube (PAL) version.
Im interested! What can I do to get involved?

![Pitfall: The Lost Expedition 100% Speedrun (1:15:29) [FORMER WORLD RECORD]
Absolutely exhilarating run.
To come from thinking that 1:17:XX was the lowest the SOB could go in this category to this is an achievement in and of itself. Average early game leading into probably the fastest jungle segment ever seen set the tone for the run. Minor slipup cost 30s or so in flooded courtyard but it was nothing but up from there. Pulled out the endgame of my life with a number of new golds to skip 1:16 and secure this run. Its beatable, but oh boy will it take some beating!
Also, I did not kick anything in the making of this video. Honest.

Really solid run with some fast sections and ALMOST the best spinjas ever. Lost a whole bunch of time in White Valley and still managed to come within 5 seconds of WR. Honestly Im blown away by the rate of PBs Ive been getting since Ive come back to Any%. The grind continues!
