TADAA!!! Wooooo hope none of you thought I'd be skipping out editing this week. Lena week was busy but there's always time for twewy. And of course you know I'd love to just edit Beat for all of the Beat week moments BUT I decided early on that I'd definitely also have an Uzuku and Kariya vid within the twewy edits and this episode is when the fight happened so HERE WE ARE.

Plus the fight was SO smooth. Like I love love love how they did it with Beat and Neku coordinating with each other and Uzuku and Kariya doing the same and having each other's back. It kinda reminds me of the teamwork in World Trigger fights which is an A+++ thing for it to remind me of.

also yes this song is clearly romantic with the lovers and Partners in crime thing. But how could I not use 'Partners' in crime for them. LIKE HELLO?! Thjs song is MADE for them. ....well I say this but I'm sure a lot of yall consider this the rocketshipping song hahahaha. Some fans do give Uzuki and Kariya the nickname the 'team rocket' of twewy so....yes. (and yes I did look up some rocketshipping worms to see if there were any other songs I'd prefer but nah this was still the best one).

I think I waver between liking them more platonically and liking them romantically but damnnn the anime also gives them lots of moments. I also got uzuki/kariya as a prompt for a twewy secret Santa so they grew on me more as a ship since then...that and there's a twitter artist I'm mutuals with who does SUCH good ship art that I'm like '....yeah, legit'.

Speaking of the the anime giving them lots of moments, I always know they're a big part of the game but you really realise that they have a LOT of screentime. So much so that there's so many scenes with them I didn't use...which I guess is good because I did want to concentrate on episode 9.

Also Beat calling them 'senpai'. aksldjladj I cannot. and the anime really made him drop 'Phones' completely and just say 'Neku' all the time. Do I like that? HM. Idk but it does hit different.

Oh, last non-spoiler thing -- okay I love how Uzuki and Kariya were having a moment there about Kariya enjoying being a Reaper and just vibing with Shibuya and hanging out with Uzuki and those being important moments to him and then Uzuki's like has a little blush and then Neku straight up goes 'are you guys done?' I LAUGHED SO HARD HAHAHA he be like 'get a room' LMAOOOO. OH NEKU THEY'RE HAVING A TOUCHING MOMENT AASLKJDALKDJ SHUSH. i was THIS close to putting that in because it was funny but I didn't feel like it fit when I tried placing it anywhere so. oh well...I can always just replay it to make myself laugh. Maybe in another edit....

listen I'm glad Uzuki got her promotion but but but BUT WHY AREN'T THEY PARTNERS HOW COULD YOU DO THIS TO ME. maybe there's some mistranslation somewhere. lol okay nah I think we just don't have the whole picture yet so we don't really know. I mean they've gotta still have their Pact right -nervous chuckle- RIGHT.

otherwise how are we supposed to joke about them being twewy TR. jesse and james are separated for like half an episode at MOST. Kariya talking about flying solo..no solo...only duo. ONLY DUO.

also Kariya in his new design is....yeah...v good...very good...don't @ me let me be. his new threads are good. the anime made him cooler imo and you'd think after nearly 10 years of twewy my faves would remain static but...Kariya may have risen the ranks alsdkajdljk

Uzuki's design is also amazing. Girlboss. perfect. I aspire to be that cool

On another topic, based on how neo twewy will be in team battles oh man if THOSE get animated into an anime at some point and they're fights are as good as the one in this episode then I'm so excited because big teams like that are even more World Trigger vibes. WT and TWEWY together? YESS.
