This session will discuss 2 real-world examples of how machine learning technology can be harnessed to improve outcomes in two pillars of society, healthcare, and education. Every organization has big data today. But it is a big leap from big data to information (data that has been organized) and an even bigger leap from information to intelligence (information that has been computed so humans can act upon it). Machine learning is uniquely designed to help organizations make these leaps. Armed with this amplified knowledge, the individual and community begin to mature and refine their learning system creating positive feedback loops that support personal and community transformation.
