A short teaser about a tutorial that's currently in the making about how you can create a lightweight, easy to follow particle emit system that reacts on movement. The .toe file itself is already available at our Patreon.
This approach started from the need for a lightweight Touchdesigner patch that could run real time on older graphic cards and is easy to understand with not to many overwhelming tweaking options. There is no need for a depth camera like a kinect, lidar or realsense, you can load in your own pre recorded movie files or for a live feed, just use your webcam or any kind of camera.
It also works with older builds of Touchdesigner where you for instance don't have the ability to run the optical flow TOP or you're missing the Nvidia RTX options. This teaser is a live recording with a GFX 1080, 60fps, 2k resolution.
