There are lots of games that reuse themes in different ways throughout their soundtrack, but Part Time UFO might take this concept farther than any other game I've played. It almost feels like a challenge that accomplished game composer Shogo Sakai took on to write as many pieces as he could with the smallest and simplest amount of musical material possible, and the result is this very cute and fun score. In this video I take a look at a couple of my favourite tunes from the soundtrack and see what Sakai did to make them reflect the levels that they accompany.
