A book review? Who is she?? Today, were reviving a video that helped booktube get its start and reviewing a classic that deserves more love. Iola Leroy is one of the first novels published in the US that was written by a Black woman. I found out about this book through a different nonfiction book, and Seji from The Artisan Geek has also made a video about it, all of which you can find down below.
