Part III of my dive into the basslines of the fantastic WILSN “Bloom” album
Vince Chiarito as always keeps the groove tight on the recording, and here I add a sprinkle of my own flavour à la all those years of James Jamerson listening - adding momentum with rhythm and chromatic notes on relatively simple chord changes
Playing my ‘08 Squier CV Precision Bass strung with Thomastik Flats, a big wedge of foam at the bridge, and the JHS Prestige giving the signal a little tickle.
