Whats going on, guys? Its me, guys; its Drop0ff. As another little stopgap between now and Thursdays upload, I have more of the sunglassed content that you love and enjoy! Lets get right to it.
Todays track is a Drop0ff rendition of a largely popular and beloved boss theme for Sans, your favorite UNDERTALE skeleton, with a unique twist...its actually a theme composed for a Sans iteration of a different universe.
Infused with unique references, outside media, and a strong creative vision, Sudden Changes showcases the experience of UNDERTALE transformed by these very exciting elements! To elaborate any further might spoil some exciting developments for you, so Id say that you should use the link posted above to check it out.
This song also references a track that I got to work on for the project about half a decade ago! Titled Taxes & Tolls, this theme encompassed the overall vibe of the snazzy and scheming skeleton.
With many different themes, familiar motifs, and comforting instrumentation, Ive no doubt that your expectations will be smashed by the sound that youve come to love and enjoy over the years.
If you enjoyed Bullet Hell, share it with a friend who might also enjoy it, and follow this account for future uploads just like this one.

![Cognitive Assumptions [explain.]
The beautiful artwork made for this afternoons upload was created by Divide. Please take a look at their Twitter page for similarly outstanding creations: https://twitter.com/dividedoodles
Happy Thursday, listeners; this is Brandon. Its been about four days since the most recent part of OMORI went up, and the next part of that is planned for a Saturday release. I think bridging the gap until then with a new song is an excellent way to pass the time. Youll like this one, too, Im sure of it.
The year is 2017, and Im working on several projects under the direction of one of my most creatively brilliant friends, who went by Doctorine at the time. One such project they were working on was UNDERTALE related, and it was a fun spin of a beloved existing story directed by Dorked, which is called Inverted Fate. They aimed to take Dorkeds unique story and swap the character placements, essentially putting all of the characters back into their original UNDERTALE placements while keeping the unique designs of Inverted Fate. As you can see by the design, Sans was an actively public scientist rather than Papyrus. This project, dubbed Mirrored Inversion, never really made it out of the developmental stages, as it was mostly a fun idea, but it was fun to work on nonetheless. I had begun work on a final boss theme for Sans, simply titled explain., mirroring a popular boss fight concept for Papyrus at the time, which was titled WHY?...but I never finished it. Despite that, a preview of it I posted on a website gained much attention, and the song was remixed hundreds of times over as a result. I never really did anything officially with it again until May of 2019; I created a remake of the song that played on a strong 80s tone, with a heartfelt reference to Queens Another One Bites the Dust. Its been over two years since then...
The modern age calls out to you in Cognitive Assumptions, a wondrous reimagining of an age old song. Feel the laid back spirit of our favorite skeleton as you enter a brand new audible adventure of passionate soul and funk, listening to meaningful solos of the clavinet and soft electric keys, all with a filling bass tone and drum track to boot. Despite these unique elements, youll find no shortage of epic orchestral composition; a powerful set of strings, brass, woodwinds, and choir will convey the emotional weight of UNDERTALE and its beloved story. Hearing familiar compositions from UNDERTALE, such as sans., His Theme, and Once Upon A Time, will refresh your memory of this wonderful adventure. Butting heads with a calculating, esteemed professor of chemistry and psychology will be frightening. You will feel rattled by deep and dark synthetic tones that play on your fears as you descend to his basement laboratory, time and time again, to face him in mortal combat. He will continue to collect data on your efforts at survival for further research...will you beat him?
If you enjoyed Cognitive Assumptions, please consider sharing it with a friend who might also enjoy it, and follow this account for future uploads just like this one. See you next time!
Credits time! Yoohoo!
Sampled Tracks/Credits:
- sans., His Theme, and Once Upon A Time, composed by Toby Fox.
Interesting Facts:
- This song has a whopping twenty eight hours logged in the last project, but forty hours over three different projects, each with their own ideas.
- The original explain. was one of my most beloved previews to be posted.
- The website that I posted my previews on, which was unmentioned above, is a now discontinued website titled Instaud.io. I have many fond memories of using the site.
- I cannot say that I have a favorite part this time, but I will say that I specifically included the melodies of His Theme and Once Upon A Time to play on the heartstrings of a beloved friend, Timothy (it worked, trust me).
Bye!
