In this video:
We have an older Crate Guitar Amplifier. Model G80XL. It needs a lot of love to be restored. Some audio issues started to creep up while using the amp. Such as audio fading in and out. Front panel potentiometers make excessive cracking sounds and are either dirty or need replacement. Additionally, I started noticing some issues with the low, mid, and high-frequency amplitude adjustments that appear to be confirmed under test. This will be part 2 of an anthology of videos to try and restore this amplifier to a close as original factory sound as possible.
