Secrets is a new resort located near Playa Del Carmen. And every traveler is entitled to their point of view. But for me this is one of the best adult only all inclusive 5 star resorts I have stayed at.
My room was massive, and FYI, when you book choose ocean view. I was here 3 days and enjoyed several meals, the buffet, Barefoot Grill at the beach and all amazing.
The wine choices were vast and top shelf alcohol with service at the beach and pool side. One activity I so enjoyed was with a friend on a catamaran ride and as this is part of the all inclusive we tipped $20 for 40 minutes of sliding across the turquoise ocean. Best $20 I've spent!
The theater was great and the show that night was spectacular, then onto the speakeasy nightclub till 1 am.
This resort has many paths that twists and turn, making for enjoyable strolling. Then you can stop off at a pool, a cenote and the ocean for a dip. Each day a mixologist was pool side with masterful creations. I am already planning my return!
