Part 2 of how I treat TMJ/TMD in the office... 💭

The primary way is with an orthotic. The second way is through what we call DTR - Disclusion Time Reduction - Therapy. To be a candidate, you cannot have wisdom teeth that you are actively chewing with, and some of your front teeth must touch when biting down.

With DTR therapy, we also measure the muscles and the bite using T-Scan 10 Technology and electromyography.
