In this video:
We have a Zenith 5D810Y Radio Receiver in need of full restoration. The primary purpose of this video is to try and provide some brief radio receiver and Amplitude Modulation (AM) theory and principles. Additionally, to provide an overview of what is needed to restore this radio to OEM sound or as close as possible (fingers crossed). Since, I do not know a lot about this radio I did pull some information on it from radiomuseum.org/r/zenith_5d810_ch5e02.html to include the diagrams/schematic used in this video. Some information on the various tubes came directly from their datasheets. Also mentioned in this video was Mr. Radio's YouTube Channel (thumbnail for channel shows Radiorama). I've learned quite a bit of in and outs on these radios just by watching his content at youtube.com/channel/UCBzhkodR48R8j0b38ytBvRA
