In this video:
I will begin to restore a WWII Era Triplett Volt Ohm Meter (VOM) Restoration Model I-166. Although I highly doubt I will be able to get this VOM back to its original metrology standards for measurements, I will at least attempt to make it functional and as accurate as possible. Apologies upfront for some of my misspeaking in this video. I think several times I said 581 or 584 MOhms when I should have said .581 or .584 MOhms (581 or 584 KOhms). I often try to correct myself in post-production but occasionally miss a few things. Part 2 is already in the works and after going back to the diagram and looking at it longer I believe I have misrepresented the rectifier test in this video. I'll cover why in Part 2.
