Having a loose chain on your Parkside 20V chainsaw? In this video, I show a simple and effective fix!
The problem is that the chain tensioner doesn’t work properly, so the chain keeps getting loose. The solution is to drill a new hole in the guide bar so the tensioner can do its job correctly.
Steps shown in the video:
Remove the guide bar
Use a 5 mm drill bit
Drill a new hole closer to the original one
Reinstall the chain and adjust tension
You can drill the hole even closer than I did to make installing the chain easier.
