In this lecture Professor Kristin Beach, MSN, BSN, RN will be presenting on The Parkland Burn Formula and the Rule of Nines. We will be reviewing how to calculate total body surface area affected from burns using the rule of nines. After this learning objective is complete, we will move onto using the parkland burn formula to determine the amount of fluids a patient should receive.
