Paris stopover at the Eiffel Tower, then straight to the French Alps by train. I stayed at the Pullman Paris Tour Eiffel (exceptional close-up Eiffel Tower views), then headed to Paris Gare de Lyon to catch the TGV INOUI to Grenoble.
If you’re also wondering about transfers from the train station to your ski resort (Courchevel, Méribel, Val d’Isère, Tignes, Les Arcs, La Rosière and more),
I’ve put a full guide on *the fastest ways to get to the French ski resorts* — including the main gateway stations/airports and what to do for the final leg into the mountains:

Key tips if you’re taking the train to the French Alps:
Tickets and schedules are usually released around 90 days before travel — set a reminder and book as soon as your dates open (Christmas & New Year sell out fast).
Gare de Lyon is split into Halls 1, 2 and 3 — the departures board tells you which hall and platform to use.
Arrive early if you have ski bags, as luggage space can be limited — renting skis in resort can make the journey much easier.

0:15 Eiffel Tower stopover (Pullman Paris Tour Eiffel)
2:33 Paris Gare de Lyon tips (halls + departures board)
3:24 TGV Paris → Grenoble (1st class, upper deck)
