THE PARIAH NEXUS:
The Necrons scheme to change the fundamental nature of the universe.
Setting up trial zones where there is a 'stilling' of all animals and sentients. Anything with a soul is being slowly pacified into listless torpor, then death.
Belisarius Cawl, archmagos of the techpriests of mars, has been sent at the head of a mighty warfleet to try to uncover the mystery of these zones of death.
But they are the brainchild of the Silent King of the Necrons, Szarekh. And he will defend them with all of his power.
So the stage is set for the epic confrontation between the living and the dead.
