Character gets built first. Resilience. Work ethic. Integrity. Doing things the right way. That only happens when kids face resistance, do hard things, and own the experience themselves.
The moment parents step in as coaches, referees, or replacements, that lesson disappears.
Here’s the lesson:

• Hard things build character, not protection.
