Violent outbursts, shouting and acting out, throwing tantrums and embarrassing their parents to the point that they fear family time in public - Welcome the first episode of the second season of The House of Tiny Tearaways, where three new families meet psychologist Dr Tanya Byron, assessing their family dynamics, introducing new pedagogy techniques and sharing her best advice for each family.
Presenter Claudia Winkleman guides the audience through a week-long journey at TV’s first ever child and parent behaviour refuge.
During their stay at the House of Tiny Tearaways, three families live together, while child psychologist Dr Tanya Byron works with both parents and children to solve issues around fussy eating, sleeping habits, and public tantrums - and she'll challenge the parents to get to the root of the problems they're experiencing raising their children.
With Dr Tanya Byron's help and advice, the hope is that the families will learn useful pedagogy techniques and gain new insights, giving them long-lasting support though the parenting challenges they're facing.
