hi, sorry for not uploading lately, i've been busy with college
this is third ever footage of the previously-unknown prototype (?) of parappa 2

tentou-you taikenban (店頭用体験版) means the demo was playable in retail stores. the release date of this demo was june 30th, 2001, but it was burned on july 17; three days before the retail version
the disclaimer says that the demo is a version under development and that its possible that unexpected problems such as malfunctions may occur. even if these problems occur, the disc cannot be replaced
some things to note about the demo compared to the retail version:
it takes longer to start the game than the retail version
only one stage was playable, that being stage 2. no other stages exist in this version
there is an extra dot at the beginning of each line
the scoring system is identical to the retail version, the purple meter is hidden
the meters and the "try again" screen look different
the points required to reach and maintain cool mode are lower (you'd need 100 points)
some of the animations are also different but I'm not completely sure
the sounds parappa makes in cool mode are separate rather than having multiple sounds connected together
as always, emulation issues are present
