For years, the best deconvolution in astrophotography was locked to one
program: BlurXTerminator, PixInsight only. SyQon Parallax changes that.
It runs in PixInsight, Photoshop, Siril and SetiAstro Suite Pro.

When I first tested it against BlurXTerminator, I was disappointed. Then
I understood what it was actually doing, and I was wrong. This is not a
story about which tool is better. It is two different philosophies, and
which one you want depends on what kind of astrophotographer you are.

What surprised me most: on the deep sky structure itself, the galaxy and
nebula detail, Parallax pulled out more real detail than I expected. On
stars, the two tools make very different choices, and I explain exactly
why.
