Reef survey videos from the Northern Red Sea, from the islands off Hurghada, Egypt, NE to the Tiran Islands. Despite the substantial human impacts on these reefs, including the close proximity of a large city (over 250,000), lots of tourists (pollution, sunscreen use), hundreds of live-aboard yachts with intensive diving, heavy overfishing, and the passage of thousands of large container ships through the middle of this area to reach the Suez Canal, the corals on these reefs remain mostly healthy.
