Purple Paper Passion Altered File Folder Lapbook is a fusion of a standard Journal, Altered File Folders, and a lapbook. This is going to be such a fun project! We hope that you will come along on the journey with us!

Cutting Guide:
I cut the middle tab off of my "Journal Cover" File Folder.
The Second Folder:
Cut folder in half.
On the first half- horizontal side:
Cut at 6 1/4" set this folder piece aside.
Next cut at 3.5" fold horizontally fold in half . This creates your folder pockets.
Remaining piece is approx 2" use this as a belly band.

With second half of file folder. (On short side)
Cut at 4.5 " fold in half. then on one side trim off 1/2". score at 1/2" on this creates a floating pocket.
Cut remaining piece on the horizontal side: 5",4" and 2 1/2".
