I am learning so much about this game, honestly xD. Thanks to some friends I was able to replace ttyd's mario with spm's mario! I had to hex edit a_mario (overworld mario) and b_mario (battle mario) to change the animations to the spm ones :D Not all animations are changed tho because i'm lazy af.
battle mario looks hilarious since I didn't replace the hammer animation yet lmao.
Oh if you're ever wondering about doing this, make sure to use p_mario and not p_wii_mario, p_mario is the gc-textured mario (aka low res) bc spm was originally going to be on the gc and use that model, p_wii_mario is the one used in the game which has higher res textures which might mess with the game lol
