After the mystery of the train ride, you'll need to sort things out at Riverside Station to be able to continue your journey to Ponsley Heights. To do this you'll need to make it through the platform station guards rooms and find the elevator key. Once you have that you'll be able to trigger the signal switch to lower the bridge and get the train back on the tracks.
