Join me as I panic sew (and glue) a circa 1877 Victorian bonnet from scratch, building a buckram frame, covering it will flannel mulling and silk fabric, and decorating it with lace and feathers and such. This whole project was completed (luckily) in one night, and worn the next day at The Victorian Festival in Port Townsend. Check out this video to see it in action: youtu.be/iSOXYqAPfXA
This is made using a pattern in the Victorian Dressmaker book 3, by @priorattire -- purchase this book here: priorattire.co.uk/ourshop/prod_7616286-The-Victorian-Dressmaker-Companion-Hats-Caps-and-Bonnets.html
