In 2015, G4C set out to develop the first of its kind game design competition in which 500 local NYC students were asked to solve challenges in their community through by becoming impact game creators. Ten years later, the Student Challenge has reached 70,000 students with G4C Learn’s foundational game design courses, and has inspired the creation of over 7,000 social impact games! It is now an international program open to young people aged 10-25 that leverages our unique ecosystem of creators, educators, and industry collaborators and the unharnessed potential of the passion of young gamers. Join us to hear from winners of this year’s Student Challenge as well as partners from around the world who have helped us to scale the program for global reach.
