Europe has made responsible space activity central to its policy narrative, from debris mitigation to green launch standards. Satellite data are already feeding into pilot projects in methane detection, deforestation monitoring, grid resilience and flood-risk mapping but will need to be integrated into core climate infrastructure if they are to drive improvements at scale.
