Panasonic UB820 REGION FREE HACK - FAIL! So I tried the supposed Region Free Hack on my Region locked UB820. It seemed to work but I ran into a snag.
1. put in region b blu ray
2. get stopped by the out of region message
3. push stop
4. push top menu multiple times
5. It is SUPPOSED to work like a region free or region A disc at this point.

I ran into a repeating menu. I don't have any other region B locked discs as all my other imported discs are region free or work in the player already (even if they say B locked).

I used the region B locked Cutthroat Island as my test discs. I did not have any other discs to test on hand. I imported the Region Free 4K UHD and it came with a locked Blu-ray so I figured I'd give it a whirl. What am I missing?

Quick note: I happily purchased the region locked player since I knew I really wouldn't be needing a region free one. But since I had a disc to try I figured it was a juicy opportunity to try the hack.
