With the latest in a what feels like an almost eternal and intractable issue escalating on October 7th, I decided to do a video on the topic of Israel-Palestine. Instead of rushing to be first, I took my time and tried to put the issue into not just its own context which is often missing, but to connect it to various historical events and issues, how those were responded to at the time and what the benefits of historical distance teach us about how we should be reacting now.
