Vision-Aid's mission is to enable, educate and empower the visually impaired to live with independence and dignity. In 2021, Vision-Aid established the Palakurthi Center of Excellence at the L.V.Prasad Eye Inst. (LVPEI) in Hyderabad. LVPEI is a world leader in eye care. One of the special programs of the new Center of Excellence is a 3-month residential scholarship program to teach computer skills to blind youth.
