PLEASE READ THE DESCRIPTION FOR FULL DETAILS ON THIS GLITCH.
First off, this was very hard to pull off, and I streamed most of it to Blake Germany a while ago testing several possible glitch exploits. I ended up pulling this one off and experimented a little.
I used moonjump to pull it off on my Wii and tried to cut off the first turn. It turns out that there is solid road inside the closed off area by the water fountain that can be driven on to cut off the first turn. Considering that it may take 2 shrooms, this might only be useful for a flap, or for nothing at all...At least with this strat.
Several respawn points include behind the finish line, behind the final ramp/drawbridge, and by the bridge between the double cut and the SC, none of which have been found to lap count. Why is this? Theres a mandatory checkpoint by the 2nd turn in the course, so I would have to go back there to get the lap count.
All checkpoints on this straightaway go outside the wall, very far out. So not matter what, it does count the lap and know where you are.
Finally, this cannot be humanly done WHATSOEVER. Theres almost no use to this at all, and therefore is pointless at this point.
