Seriously, PAL consoles are generally bad news, they just don't play games right! The majority of games on the majority of PAL consoles just run too slowly. The list is long, but the NES, the Super NES, the Master system, the Mega Drive, the PS1, the PS2, in fact basically every console from the late 70's to the mid 2000s that got a PAL release has speed problems. From the Fairchild Channel F to the Xbox, PAL systems will give you a second rate experience.
