“It's the whole embodiment of what we hope to emphasize through the gym. And that is to be so comfortable in your own skin, but also to know that your worth is not connected to your ability, nor is it connected to what you look like.”

Affiliate owner and 180 Project head coach Oakley Hardwick is uniting people of all backgrounds and fostering human bonds using CrossFit, the outdoors, and shared experiences.

Hardwick owns Forest Flow CrossFit — a gym in the countryside of Lancaster that affords members the mental and physical benefits of connecting with nature and movement. The adjacent lake even acts as a natural Ice Barrel, exposing members to different forms of recovery.

Additionally, Hardwick is the head coach of the 180 Project — an organization that helps people in recovery from addiction, struggling with mental health, and prison through CrossFit. She also runs a group called Women Making Change — a space where women can connect, learn, and evolve together.

Tune in to learn more about how Hardwick’s use of movement, nature, and commonality in various CrossFit communities is helping them reach their goals in and outside of the gym.

Presented by Ice Barrel.
