THE BASE: Layer of PVA followed by sand, painted first with Flat Brown, heavily overbrushed Brown Sand, lightly drybrushed Dark Sand. Add dots of PVA and static grass, then tufts of your choice - these 'orange meadow' tufts came from Green Stuff World. While drybrushing the base, once most of the paint is rubbed off your brush, lightly stipple at legs and greatcoat to add a bit of dust to the uniform.
