Based on the original script of War of the Worlds (2005), the SWS crew built translucent silicone pods and positioned baby alien puppets inside. This video gives a sneak peek of the project. Unfortunately, just days before the sequence was to be shot, Steven Spielberg decided to remove all references to the pods.
