๐Ÿฆˆ This shark mask is a lot scarier than most of the mask patterns I make, but it was a lot of fun. It also goes together fast, because most of the pieces are pretty big.

In this video, the paper mache is already dry, and it's time to start painting. I only used four colors, and painted the shark mask directly over the paper mache without a coat of gesso or primer. I was trying for a slightly grungy look - a shark who had been around for awhile, and had a few scars to prove it. That is, admittedly, a little weird, so you will probably choose a different approach. ๐Ÿ˜Š

You can find the downloadable shark mask pattern (there's a small charge for it) here: UltimatePaperMache.com/shark-mask

If you make a mask or wall sculpture with this pattern, I really hope you'll come back to the Daily Sculptors page on my site and show it off. I'd love to see how your shark turns out, especially if you make a costume to go with it. If you have any ideas for a costume, please let us know in the comments below.

You can also find patterns for all the masks and sculptures behind me in the video (and many more) here: UltimatePaperMache.com/patterns
