In this en plein air session, I pushed myself out of the comfort zone! Firstly, I try to capture moving water from life. I then wind up in a paddock to paint a cow that’s chilling, chewing the cud. Finally, I attempt a tricky lighting scenario in a dramatically short window of time. I think it's crucial as artists to really stretch outside of your comfort zone to grow your painting skills!
