Citadel's painting handles are great, but I mostly use my own magnetic handles.
Most of my models have magnets on the underside, so I can use a variety of steel or iron or magnet contraptions to hold minis while I prime and paint.
In particular, I like using wood dowels with neodymium magnets glued to the tops. These feel good in the hand, and they give me a lot of control. They make bracing my hands together for stability nice and easy.
Each of these handles costs less than 1 dollar to make, so I made a whole lot. Now when I batch paint large squads, each mini has its own handle!
In this video, I show a few ideas for how to use magnets to hold minis for convenient spray priming and convenient painting with a brush.
