In this video series, I'll continue with a tutorial on painting figures' faces, this time looking at painting flesh and skin, including tone and texture.

This is Young Miniatures excellent 1/10th scale resin bust of a Lewis Gunner WW1 Ref: 1875. It was purchased from historexagents.com and I painted it a few years ago in 2018.

I used acrylics, as per usual, and this time I was using Lifecolors. Thanks to airbrushes.com for their long standing support and for providing the paints. Get your Lifecolor references from them.

Not being a figure "expert" this video is designed for beginners and shows all my different experiments and techniques in the real of figure painting.
