This digital painting was inspired by a beautiful white peony that a friend brought when visiting our home.
In this timelapse, I focus on the flower’s layered petal structure, soft transitions of light, and subtle shifts between warm and cool colors. Rather than treating the petals as simply white, I gradually build their volume and depth through delicate shadows, reflected light, and overlapping forms.
