Painting a Tattooed Body — Digital Art Timelapse
In this digital painting timelapse, I explore how to build a tattooed character through anatomy, clear two-value lighting, skin tones, and material details.
I first establish the light and shadow to define the body’s volume, then gradually develop the muscles, skin texture, and tattoos. Instead of placing the tattoo designs flatly over the character, I adjust their shape, contrast, and tone so they follow the curves of the body and feel naturally integrated with the skin.
