I tried my best to paint this with brushes only up to a point-- but towards the end caved and brought the airbrush. I used Liquitex fluid basic paints for the brush portion-- for airbrush I switched over to Createx. One thing that I thought was pretty cool was that I did not want to pull out my old silentaire compressor and Iwata airbrushed, and fuss around with dealing with painting them, so I bought this 99 dollar airbrush and tiny compressor off of Amazon. Worked out extremely well for such a priced product. (it was called something like "Professional Master Airbrush Multi-Purpose Gravity Feed Airbrushing System Kit" for anyone who is curious. Not sponsored by them or anything..)
