Whenever I suffer a creative block, I don't stop modeling and painting. I change subjects and research history for awhile. Then I change up and build a smaller diorama of a totally different subject to get the creative juices flowing until the passion is restored. Passion will always return if you take a break and keep up the practice in one-way-or-another.
This is a Bunker Façade I modeled for an on going 1944 Juno Beach Diorama. I like to build at least one subject that is different from the model railroad I am presently working on. Every one has their own way to take a break, but still stay sharp in the modeling hobby. Hopefully the Diorama will be done this fall as I continue to plan long term on the layout.
