In this episode of Marathon Mondays with Mal, we get a twofold glimpse into the world of custom luxury coach building, beginning with the rich white-and-blue paint of Coach 1410 and transitioning into the very first steps of production on Coach 1417.
Outside, Mal admires 1410’s vibrant paint design—a clean palette of whites and silvers accented by rich blue tones and a touch of woodgrain-style gray that adds texture and depth. Back inside the production facility, we shift focus to Coach 1417, a custom-ordered double-slide X3, which has just hit the production floor. Mal walks us through the earliest stages of the build: scaffolding going up, the salon slide being removed for ease of access, and the crew beginning wire pulls and installing leather-wrapped ceiling components.
