Happy Tuesday! It's time for tutorial 3 of 3 in my Procreate Valentine's Series! (did you miss the last two? See them here: youtu.be/4V75vITZRCY and here: youtu.be/EuJNfO8nbbA )
This week is our most advanced project of them all, so if you're just starting out with Procreate, be sure to check out vid 1 + 2 first (linked above). In this tutorial, we'll be creating a sealed love letter surrounded by flat style forget me not flowers. We'll build our envelope from scratch by utilizing a sketch layer with drawing guides, then layer on color and elements for a final piece that is embellished with lettering.
From this advanced tutorial, you'll learn how to:
✨ Determine accurate envelope proportions using a drawing guide
✨ Create a realistic envelope with warped paper edges
✨ Evaluate a reference photo and create a flat style floral from it
✨ Layer flat color to simulate depth
✨ Layer in lettering to add complexity and depth

This week, were drawing a wrapped flower bouquet in Procreate! Were adding a little bit of complexity to things by creating several floral elements and working in a very organized fashion with layers and groups. Were also adding in a few shadow elements to add dimension to the whole piece. Well finish it off with a sweet message - hand lettered or with editable text.
