Despite occasional pain in her knees, 81-year-old Judy Richardson had maintained her active lifestyle by being gentle with them. She received physical therapy, used medicated creams and even tried injections. But after twisting her left knee, she realized she needed to do something more to address a worsening issue and consulted with Orthopedic Surgeon John Murphy, D.O. Following a double knee replacement, Richardson has returned to her active lifestyle. She reports to climbing and descending stairs with ease and walking her neighborhood with no pain.
